Research into passenger and immigration lists has revealed some of the very first Coouttings to arrive in North America: Richard Cutting and his brother William were amongst the first settlers in the New World. They left from Ipswich England on the ship "Elizabeth" and settled in Watertown, Massachusetts in 1634.
