Guy de Bailleul, owner of the fiefs of Bailleul, Dampierre, Harcourt, and Vinoy in Normandy was a Norman Baron, who accompanied Duke William to England. Around the year 1093, he was granted the Barony of Biwell in Northumberland by William Rufus, son of William the Conqueror, who was King of England from 1087-1100.
