An exhaustive search of immigration and passenger lists has revealed many Irish immigrants North America bearing the name Corrain: David Curran who settled in Maryland in 1699; Andrew, Bernard, Daniel, David, Edward, Elizabeth, George, James, John, Michael, Patrick, Peter, Richard, Thomas and William Curran all settled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania between 1820 and 1872.
