Many English families tired of political and religious strife left Britain for the new colonies in North Ameri ca. Cadby, who came to Virginia in 1638; Tho Cadby, who came to Virginia in 1638; and Stephen Cadby, who settled in Indiana sometime between 1840 and 1843..
