Etymology of Housely

What does the name Housely mean?

Of all the Anglo-Saxon names to come from Britain, Housely is one of the most ancient. The name is a result of the original family having lived in the settlement of Housley Hall in Ecclesfield in the West Riding of Yorkshire.
