Early Origins of the Estotville familyThe surname Estotville was first found in Yorkshire where "Robert de Estoteville, became feudal lord of Cottingham in Yorkshire, and was succeeded there-in by his son, also named Robert, who added to his inheritance the lordship of Schypwic, in the name county, by marriage with Eneburga, a Saxon heiress."
