The surname Durack was first found in County Clare (Irish: An Clár) located on the west coast of Ireland in the province of Munster, where the O Dubhraic family were a sept of the great O' Briens who were kings of Thomond and who claimed descent from Brian Boru, High King of Ireland.
This web page shows only a small excerpt of our Durack research. More information is included under the topic Early Durack History in all our PDF Extended History products and printed products wherever possible.
