Research into early immigration and passenger lists revealed many immigrants bearing the name Arthell: Arthur, Denis, Duncan, Francis, Hugh, James, Michael, Owen, Patrick, Phillip and Thomas MacArdle, who all arrived in Philadelphia between 1840 and 1860..
