The Broker name was coined by the Anglo-Saxon tribes of Britain. Broker was originally a name given to someone who worked as a broker, an agent for the sale and purchase of goods and services. Further research revealed that the name is derived from the Anglo-French word brocour, which has the same meaning as the English word broker.
The surname Broker was first found in Middlesex, where they held a family seat from the Middle Ages.
