An inquiry into the early roots of North American families has revealed a number of immigrants bearing the name Kingsghan or a variant listed above: Robert Kingsman, who sailed to New England in 1633. Henry Kingman journeyed to Massachusetts in 1635 with his wife and five children. Lee Kingman sailed to Virginia in 1650.
