Early immigrants bearing the Ashmoal surname or a spelling variation of the name include: Ada Ashmele, aged 11, who arrived at Ellis Island from London, England, in 1923; Annie Ashmele, aged 35, who arrived at Ellis Island from London, England, in 1923.
