Research into the origins of individual families in North America has revealed records of the immigration of a number of people bearing the name Naylar or a variant listed above: Thomas Naylor, who came to Virginia in 1623; Edward Naylor, who settled in Boston in 1630; Edward and Joe Nayler, who arrived in St. Christopher in 1635.
