Passenger and immigration lists have revealed a number of early Irish immigrants bearing the name Lyndyn: James McLinden arrived in Philadelphia Pennsylvania in 1768; Arthur McLindon arrived in Philadelphia in 1858; William McLindon arrived in Philadelphia in 1880.
