Research into passenger and immigration lists has revealed some of the very first Kenets to arrive in North America: Richard Kennet who was working as an apothecary in Boston in the 17th century; Benjamine Kennet settled in Annapolis Maryland in 1729; Peter Kennett settled in Virginia in 1655.
