Some of the first settlers of this family name or some of its variants were: Ernestine Natz and Ferdinand Natz, who both came to New York from Bremen in 1867; Caroline Natz and Christian Natz, who arrived in New York in 1868; Stephan Nagy, who applied for naturalization in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania in 1889.
