Migration of the Mosquerra family

Some of the first settlers of this family name or some of its variants were: Diego de Mosquera who came to Florida in 1538; Basco Mosquera who immigrated to the Dominican Republic in 1539; and Sebastian de Mosquera who arrived in Peru in 1582 with his wife. Among later settlers were Gabriel Mosquera who landed in Puerto Rico in 1823.
