Migration of the Leheman family

Some of the first settlers of this family name or some of its variants were: Clemens Lehman who went to New York with his wife Anna Gertraud Wolf Lehman, in 1713; and Hans Lehman who settled in Philadelphia, in 1721; with his wife Anna Hege Lehman and their three children. Philip Theodor Lehenmann settled in Germantown, P.A. in 1710. Oddly, almost 30 years earlier another Philip Theodor Lehenmann had gone to Pennsylvania as well, in 1682. Another early settler, Lorentz Lehenmann sailed, port unknown, in 1696. Catherine Lehman went to New York, N.Y. in 1824.
