Migration of the Lasvegas family
Some of the first settlers of this family name or some of its variants were: Andres De Vega who came to Florida in 1538; Melchor De Vega to traveled to Mexico in 1552 with his wife and child, and Joseph De Vega who arrived in Peru in 1582. Later settlers included Francisco Vega, a Spanish Soldier who came to New Orleans in 1826.
