Early Notables of the Dupaul family

Anne-Pierre-Francois-Auguste Dupau, who was a Baron and general. Son of Pierre-Charles-Germain and Charlotte-Emmanuelle Dabadie-Faulon, he was born in 1783 in Carbonne (Haute-Garonne). In 1802 he entered the Polytechnic School and continued studying later in the northern town of Metz. In 1805 he received his degree and served in the Grand Army in the Suchet division.
