Migration of the Anayas family to the New World and Oceana


Some of the first settlers of this family name or some of its variants were: Jeronimo De Anaya who came to New Spain in 1578; and Beatriz De Anaya who arrived in Peru in 1598. Later settlers included Antonio Anaya, a Spanish soldier, who came to New Orleans in 1829.
