The surname Gerbrick was first found in Norfolk at Wickhampton, a parish, in the union of Blofield, hundred of Walsham. "The church [of Wickhampton] is an ancient structure in the early and decorated English styles, with a square embattled tower; in the chancel, under richly decorated arches, are the effigies of Sir William de Gerbridge and his lady." 1
