Early Origins of the Lingwoud family

The surname Lingwoud was first found in Lincolnshire at Linwood, a parish, in the union of Caistor, S. division of the wapentake of Walshcroft. This parish dates back to the Domesday Book of 1086 when it was known as Lindude. [1]CITATION[CLOSE]
