Ontario and the prairie provinces of Canada also provided homes to many. Early settlers bearing the Gundelfingere surname or a spelling variation of the name include: Hans Gundelfinger who arrived in Pennsylvania in 1750; John C. Gundelfinger arrived in Missouri in 1840; William C. Gundelfinger arrived in Allegheny County, Pa. in 1876.
