The surname Stalker was first found in Northamptonshire where they held a family seat as Lords of the Manor. Castle Stalker is a four-storey tower house or keep on a tidal islet on Loch Laich, Argyll, Scotland was built around 1320 by Clan MacDougall, Lords of Lorn but bears no relationship to the surname as it is an Anglicization of the Gaelic Stalcaire.
