Migration of the Shuyler family
Some of the first settlers of this family name or some of its variants were: Gabriel Schuler, who arrived in Pennsylvania in 1728. He was followed by Adam Schuler, who arrived in Philadelphia in 1730; and Valentin Schuler, who came in 1735. Jakob Schuler came with his wife and eight children to Carolina in 1736. Frantz Schuller came to Philadelphia in 1733.
