Migration of the Saltman family

Some of the first settlers of this family name or some of its variants were: Johann Salzmann, who came to America in 1756. Frantz Saltzmann and William Saltzmann arrived in Philadelphia in 1751. A number of Saltzmanns came with the waves of emigration to Texas in the 1840s, including Eva Catherina Salzmann with her two children in 1845.
