The story of the Pettilloh family is rich with Scottish history. It begins in the ancient kingdom of Dalriada where Pettilloh evolved as a name for some who lived in either of two places called Pittilloch; the first is near Freuchie in the county of Fife, while the second is in Glenfarg, in the county of Perth.
