An inquiry into the early roots of North American families has revealed a number of immigrants bearing the name Bransburay or a variant listed above: Thomas Bransby who settled in Virginia in 1623; William Bransby settled in Virginia in 1635; Daniel Bransbury settled in Jamaica in 1692.
