Research into the origins of individual families in North America revealed records of the immigration of a number of people bearing the name Berlinski or a variant listed above: Matthew Burlin who was recorded as having arrived in Maryland in 1676; Johanne Caspar Berlen who, with his two daughters and son, arrived in New York City in 1750.
