The Rhineland, in Germany, is the ancient home of the Baeverer family. A study of passenger and immigration lists has shown a number of people bearing the name of Baeverer, or one of its variants, reaching North America shores very early: settlers who arrived and established themselves along the eastern seaboard of the United States and in Canada during the 18th and 19th centuries.
