Early Origins of the Badbry familyThe surname Badbry was first found in Northamptonshire at Badby, a parish, in the union of Daventry, hundred of Fawsley. 1 The first record of the family was found here when William de Baddebi was listed in the Assize Rolls of 1202. Later William Badby was listed in the Feet of Fines for Surrey in 1388-1389. And later again, Thomas Badby was listed in the Assize Rolls of London in 1425. 2 Further to the north in Scotland, Badbae is in the parish of Latheron, Caithness.
