elephant
The elephant is a symbol of huge strength and stature, wisdom and courage. It is a very appropriate bearing for those who have distinguished themselves in the East. The elephant’s head or tusks are more common than the whole elephant. Probiscides, or elephant trunks, symbolize strength. They are also an emblem of the call to war, in particular, the crusades. This symbol is very fitting for someone who has bravely followed the sound of the trumpet into battle.Copyright © 2000 - 2009 Swyrich Corporation, all rights reserved
