| Origin Displayed: Polish Spelling variations of this family name include: Pac, Pack, Pacc, Pacewicze, Pacewicz and others. First found in Polesie, the largest province of Poland. It is inhabited by Ruthenians, called Polesians, of Ukrainian descent. Some of the first settlers of this family name or some of its variants were: Catharine Pac, who arrived at New York, NY in 1866; and Alexander Pacewicz, who was Naturalized in Detroit in 1929.
