Jurg Sturmer, who arrived in Philadelphia in 1747. Johann Jacob Sturm came in 1750; Johann Georg in 1752; and Georg Jacob in 1770. Nicolaus Georg Sturm came to Texas in 1851 with his wife and four children, while G. Stuermer came to Texas in 1854. Michael Sturm came to Philadelphia in 1844..
