They also held property in Saxony, near the city of Wittenburg, as well as the state Luemzow in the region of Neu-Stettin (Pomerania) in 1583. In the United States, the majority of settlers landed in Philadelphia, and moved on to Ohio, Texas, Illinois, California, New York, and Maryland. Many German settlers also migrated to Canada, particularly to Ontario and the Prairies. Amongst the settlers in North America with this distinguished name Fulk were Wulf Falk, who came to Philadelphia in 1847; Georg Falk, his wife Agnes, and their five children, who arrived in Texas in 1854; and Joseph Falk, who arrived in New Castle County, Delaware, in 1853..
