Early North American immigration and passenger lists have revealed a number of people bearing the name Deavin or a variant listed above: Mary Devine who settled in Virginia in 1653; Felix Devine who settled in Baltimore Maryland in 1804; Bryan Devine settled in New York in 1803; John Davins settled in Virginia in 1636.
