Migration of the Tysor family

Some of the first settlers of this family name or some of its variants were: John Tizzard, who settled in Maryland in 1740; Sam Tizzard settled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1864; John Tizard settled in Virginia in 1730; Richard and George Tizard landed in Philadelphia in 1840 and 1864 respectively. In Newfoundland a family from Poole, Dorset, England, settled at Old Perlican in the 1700's.
