 England Early Origins of the Tredinnick familyThe surname Tredinnick was first found in Cornwall where they held a family seat as Lords of the Manor of Tredneck (Tredinick). "At Tredinick, which was anciently the seat of a family so named, but which became extinct in the reign of Charles II. Tonkin mentions the ruins of the mansion as a stately pile of buildings; the windows of which, or rather of the hall belonging to it, he describes as the largest of the kind in the kingdom. But no vestiges of these venerable buildings at present remain ; and a farm house now occupies the ground on which this mansion stood.
