Migration of the Sicco family

Some of the first settlers of this family name or some of its variants were: Jean Sicard who arrived in Quebec in 1685 from Languedoc; Jean Sicard arrived in Quebec in 1681 from Saintonge near Bordeaux, although this is more likely to be the port of departure, rather than his home province. David Sicard de Carufel worked in Maskinonge in 1871.
