This noble family owned the land of la Chaume and many distinguished Knights, Captains, and Soldiers were descended from this family. The members of this family were the Lords of Soirans and Fouffrans, such as Louis who was also a Knight, a Councillor, a Chamberlain to the King and he was appointed Magistrate of Amont in 1490. In the military he was Lieutenant in the Châtel-Guyon company in 1481.
