Migration of the Granat family

Some of the first settlers of this family name or some of its variants were: Miguel De Granados who came to New Spain in 1580; Antonio Granados who immigrated to Honduras in 1588; and Jorge Granada who arrived in the Spanish Main in 1595. Among the later settlers were Rafael Granados, a Spanish soldier, who came to New Orleans in 1829.
