Early immigrants include: Cush Settlers in Australia in the 19th Century- Mr. Denis Cush, (b. 1809), aged 22, Irish stone cutter who was convicted in County Tyrone, Ireland for life for assault, transported aboard the "Captain Cook" on 5th November 1831, arriving in New South Wales, Australia, he died in 1887 1
